Celebrated Boxing Day with my dearest girls (jocelyn celine siting olivia) at Garden Slug, just metres away from where Jocelyn stays.
This place is really cosy, somewhere i would hang out often if i stay in the area.
It's attractive from the external, really cute.
They offer free wifi! So, if you wanna use laptop there, it's gonna be conducive..
Despite the cute exterior, the interior was... disappointingly normal. Just a close line to being dull..
They even have their own merchandise!
Plus point, they decorate their walls with nice photographs.
The food!
My carbonara was good! very tasty, just nicely salty and the ingredients are very generous! A lot of mushroom and very nice ham! A BIG portion, as you can see from the picture.
Olivia's bolognese. She couldn't finish. Apparently, it wasn't very nice.
Jocelyn and Celine's Roast beef sandwich. Both of them found it good.
Siting's Buttery garlic glazed topped with grilled chicken strips. She didn't like it at all.
Too dry and probably tasteless.
Signature Brownie Popsicle. Though it's signature, it doesn't taste "especially" good. Just mediocre, but the ice cream was one huge ball and IT IS SO GOOD. This made the brownie popsicle dish a lot a lot nicer and i loved the entire dessert, actually.
Siting and Olivia, again, didn't like theirs because they ordered without the ice cream. Heh.
What's good about this restaurant - No GST and service charges! Shiok.
